Marmara Professionals Federation

INTRODUCTION

The Marmara Workers Federation was established in May 1, 2006 by nine federations representing members ranging from engineers, workers and civil servants active in a variety of sectors and industries.

Increasing career development, reviving civil initiative and giving importance to corporate social responsibility form the backbone of the federation.

Nowadays standing on a quite strong ground with about 30 member associations, the federation has been contributing dearly to the development of the country in line with its vision by representing 25,000 members from public and private sectors.

By holding educational programs, seminars, symposiums, panels and vocational projects, the member associations bring together about 75,000 participants annually as well as being constantly in touch with up to 130,000 workers from a variety of sectors.

In addition to the afore-mentioned activities, we also hold a number of activities as the federation. These activities may be summarized as educative programs for associaton managers, activities aimed at increasing the interaction amongst associations and career development educations. Moreover, companies and institutions which display astonishing success in their respective fields are presented awards via a number of organizations held by member associations under the umbrella of the federation, thus underlining the factor of success by encouraging it.

Workers who are represented through the member associations are represented through Sector Committees in the federations, enabling coordination and uninterrupted flow of sectoral information amongst associations. Furthermore, problems are strived to be solved through these activities, where leading figures and representatives from different sectors come together on a common ground.

Organizing custom-tailored activities hand-in-hand with local authorities, the federation has been putting forth a wrenching effort to bring the relationship between civil and public sectors towards the line it should be.

After the completion of certain procedures pertaining to obtaining Special Employment Bureau certificate of authority, the federation has been providing employment service to a great many people within its structure of network. Those institutions and companies having a close relations with the federation also take their share from the service in question by immediately finding the most suitable persons for jobs.
